Dear all,
I have a problem in connecting NI 1776c smart camera with PC. Even though I gave a correct IP address of the camera in vision builder(2011), it was showing as Inconsistent IP address. Please help me out to solve this problem.

This usually means the IP address of your camera is not allowed because it does not match your network configuration.
For example, if your computer IP address is 192.168.0.1, and the network is configured with a mask of 255.255.255.0, the camera has to have the first three numbers of the IP address matching the computer IP address.
I am guessing the default address of the camera is to use DHCP, and if that fails it generates a random IP address. I would change it so it has a fixed IP address that fits with the computer IP address. You might have to temporarily change your computer IP address to match the camera IP address to change the camera IP settings. Setting up network addresses is kind of a pain in the neck.
