the timestamp problem is solved. I change the driver to the NI gige driver and since that time I've no troubles with your timestamp program anymore.
If I had known that the NI gige driver is a high performance driver I wouldn't have changed it back to intel driver after installing the LV IMAQ acquisition software. But now it's running.
Could I please get a copy of the VI to read the meta data from the dalsa camera , I have a dalsa HM 1400 and would love to move away from the software supplied with the camera as its hard to automate my testing with it.
I finally hadn't used the timestamp program for my application. So I didnt spent to much time in documentation. But I can remember that it really worked and I found some VIs from Eric and hope this helps.
