LabVIEW Grill-Out!
What do LabVIEW, grilled steaks (and vegie options), tasty beverages, coding battles, LabVIEW/user trivia, board games, juggling, and lawn games have in common? They'll all be at the LabVIEW Grill-out on September 13th!
We've gotten lots of feedback on how hard it is to hear standard presentations at the pavilion, so we figure we'll lean into that and just give everyone a LabVIEW-themed good time! Come hang out and reconnect with your fellow LabVIEW users!
Please RSVP here so we know how much food to get for everyone.
Coding Battles
We will be adopting Endigit's SquareBattle, which you may have seen at NIWeek 2018. Bring your own square (or squares) and compete to see who conquers the board! The instructions and code are on their website, linked above. You can find the code and instructions on the Minneapolis LabVIEW User Group page as well. We will run the battle in LabVIEW 2020, so anyone using LabVIEW community can participate. But anything written in LabVIEW 2016 or later should run fine.
LabVIEW User Trivia
Grab a gamesheet and get to know your fellow LabVIEW users by finding people that match the facts on the sheet. It's a great way to meet new developers. Feel free to team up together. Want a LabVIEW fact about yourself added to the gamesheet? Reply to this email with your fact!
Board Games
We will bring some board games to enjoy. Feel free to bring your own as well! Tables will be set up.
Juggling
At least one of our members is a talented juggler and unicycler. Watch the show! Also know how to juggle? Join in!
Yard Games
Grab a drink and play some yard games like corn hole and ladder ball.
