move stage of a microscope with stepper motor movement

hello everybody,

                       I have a microscope to which a camera is fixed, images are acquired through an object which is placed on the stage of the microscope.

I need to move the microscope with the help of the stepper motor.I have controller commands(llb manager). I am not using any limit switches. There are many events in this like 1. live display, 2. capturing the snap, 3. stage control, 4. camera properties. Any help is taken with pleasure.
