I have a NI9174 chassis and NI9237 USB cDAQ but only use 1 port.
Can I use the rest of 4 port to acquire other analog input such as temperature (Thermocouple) and position sensor?
Please asvise. Thanks !
(I am a newly LabVIEW and control engineer.)

In a certain range you can use it to measure resistive sensors.
However take a look into the spec for possible ranges. Maybe you have a pure voltage mode....
In half bridge mode:
Temperature with a Pt1000 and a 1k reference resistor (vishay 102??) . Pt100 in quaterbridge?? (isn't the nominal quaterbridge in the 300 ohm range????)
Position with a potentiometer sensor, for full range of the sensor with two additional resistors to meet the mV/V range.
Scaling may/will need some additional math..
