Solved!

Hi All,

I am currently using Labview 2009 student edition, I have also installed  NI-DAQmx 8.8, I only have a small project to do with regards acquiring a voltage using a DAQ6008,

I am currently trying this project : http://www.me.umn.edu/courses/me2011/labview/LabVIEW-thermistor.pdf the problem is that DAQ Assistant is nowhere to be seen in my Labview programme.

Is there something I have missed?

I have searched the palette for DAQ and its definately not there.

Any help is appreciated!!

Hello Marko,

The issue is that NI-DAQmx 8.8 isn't supported by LabVIEW 2009. You need to download and install DAQmx 8.9.5 or later for LabVIEW 2009 support. I would recommend the newest version of NI-DAQmx:

NI-DAQmx 9.0.2 - Windows 2000/7 x64/7/Vista x64/Vista/XP

Let me know if you run into any further issues.

Regards,
Dan King

Why are you spamming the forums with your link?  Particularly messages that are years old.  Smiley Mad
