Hi to everybody,
I am trying to install the NI DAQCard-6024E on a Dell latitude 5520, without success.
I installed windows 7 32 bits, and now I could install the drivers. However the
The device manager confirms that the drivers are installed and updated, while he says, in the device status panel:
"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use (Code 12).
If you want to use any device, you will need to disable one of the other devices of this system."
Does anybody knows what I could do to fix this problem?
Thank you very much.
Cheers,
Manfredo

Hi Manfredo,
this is a resource problem at the OS level. The card has a conflict with another card because of I/O, IRQ or DMA channel.
Here is Microsoft's explanation:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123 (about a quarter of the way down is the explanation of error 12)
Things to try:
- insert the card in another slot
- remove unneeded cards from PC
- make changes to BIOS PCI settings (I wouldn't really know what to look at there though, unfortunately. Worth a look though.)
- reinstall DAQmx driver
