Dear all,
I have been trying to drive a loud speaker using an analog sinusoidal signal from 100 to 10kHz frequency range. I can generate good waveform using USB 6229. But when i apply the signal to loud speaker the signal becomes square waveform and diminishes in amplitude.
I thought this might be due to impedance mismatch. But when i looked at spec sheet of USB 6229, the analog output impedance is 0.1 ohms range. Usually a loud speaker has input voltage of 8 ohms. So i dont think it is the problem with impedance mismacth.
Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Not an impedance mismatch, but rather the limited current drive capability of the 6229's analog output. You would need an amplifier between the 6229 and the speaker.

Hi
I also have same issue
if get amplified,it would be sufficient

Use a voltage divider 10:1 (for the 10V max output of the analog output to bring it down to line level) and a actitve speaker or a standard 'hifi' amplifier ...
