How to read the data in NI4472 By using Digital Triger ?

Iam using NI 4472 for PCI card. In that if i confiured external trigger (Configuration - trigger source: PF10/EXT_Trig & Edge: Rising) measurement and automation gives time out error ( Error code is 10800).With out extrenal trigger i can able to read the data. Can any one give suggestion to read the data by using extrenal  digital trigger.

When your trigger is set to be external you need to provide an external trigger to the device to one of the PFI lines.  If a trigger is not supplies within 10 seconds (the default timeout) of starting the task you will receive this timeout error.  You do not see this error when there is no trigger configured because the task will start immediately without waiting for a trigger.
