How to support 3 strain gauges with USB 6225

Hi,

I have purchased 3 ATI strain gauges and NI-DAQ USB 6225, I'm trying to connect all of them together and get simultaneous results,

but by now i'm not able to do so, each of the gauges is giving me results while it is alone but running them together is imposable.

I prefer to get the results in MATLAB(r) but also LABVIEW will be fine.

Can I have an already written code for one of those software?

Thanks a lot,

shahar lapid

I can't help with matlab but it's trivial in LabVIEW. All that you need to do is use a single task (or DAQ Assistant) with all of the channels. If using a physical channel control, the syntax would be something like Dev1/ai0:2). Just look at some of the shipping examples.

Hello snlapid, hope you are doing great!

You can find an example for continuos strain acquisition in LabVIEW if you check the example finder.

To do so, go to help»Find Examples»Hardware input and output»DAQmx» Strain»

When you open the example open the drop down menu for Physical channels, select browse and while holding "CTRL" key select all the channels you want to read from.

Thanks for posting!
