I've installed DAQmx 8.0.2 on openSUSE 11.2

How to launch Measurement & Automation Explorer?

Can't find this programm. Or what can I do with installed DAQmx?

Measurement & Automation Explorer should have installed with any DAQmx drivers. It should be available in your National Instruments folder. If it's not on your computer anywherer, maybe the install of the drivers wasn't completely successful. You could try reinstalling them.

Isn't supposed there is some shortcut on the desktop after installation? I don't see anything in the program list also.

I am using openSUSE 11.2. Not Windows. And how to launch it from folder? I don't even know where I have to find executable file of MAX.

Oh sorry - it's different for Linux. MAX isn't supported on Linux - says so in the readme for your drivers: http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/multifunction_daq/nidaqmx/8.0.2LinuxOnly/README.txt

 

You'll have to test your device connection through more round-about methods like using examples in LabVIEW, etc.
