I am using a NI PCI 6289 for some Analog signal acquisitions. While acquiring the signal, suddenly the DAQ card was not detected (Message appeared as "the Device not found"). After some time, it starts emitting smoke from the shown area in the attached figure. I disconnected the card from the slot immediately. Then after shutting down the computer, I connected the card again and, restarted the PC. Again the smoke appeared from the same area. After that, I didn't do anything. Would you verify whether it is damaged or not? Is there any way that we can reset it. Everything happened suddenly.
