Hi
I am wondering of fig 8 in the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS NI 9205. There, COM is bridged with AISENSE,
why is this shown?
I want to measure grounded sources with NRSE.
I have looked at your http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/DF70FCE03D397BFE86256A3700780FFA?OpenDocument
and http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3344#toc2
But I dont understand if AI GND is the same as COM (pin 17 or 29 & 10) on the 9205, OR if the AI GND is a hardware line inside the module to ... (power supply socket earth?)?
Is AI GND the same as system ground(that you often mention in other forum comments), and/or COM?
You usually say that AISENSE should not be connected to system ground, so I am confused 😉 Should i wire signal + to ch AI0 and signal - to AISENSE and COM to ... ?
