Convert database

Hi guys,

Can you please tell me where do you find the corporate database?  I can find the user database file and convert but not corporate database.  Are they in same location?

Hi Harrison,

The location of the corporate database depends on the version of Multisim/Ultiboard you are running, and on your operating system.

For 10.1 on Windows 2000/XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suit\10.1\database\CPCOMP_S.PRJ

For 10.1 on Windows Vista:

C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite\10.1\database\CPCOMP_S.PRJ

Note: The Application Data\ProgramData folders are hidden by default on Windows.

These locations are actually described in Appendix B of the Multisim User Manual. You can also find the location of the corporate database from Multisim/Ultiboard.

1. Click Options > Global Preferences
2. Select the Paths tab
3. See Corporate Database in the table
