Dear Skaaji,
Good morning.
Thanks for using NI discussion forum.
Please make sure that the device name is correct. You can check it from the Measurement and Automation software of National instrument.
I am really sorry we can't help you much about the programming in Agilent VEE.
Could you please consult with Agilent how does its software work with DAQ devices and please check its compatibility with National Instrument devices.
regards,
Muhammad

Dear Muhammad,
thank you very much for respond.
yes, i think the device name is correct (Dev2/ao0), the same name as the MAX says.
the VEE 9.2 identifies NI USB-6008 and creates what VEE calls "driver object", so compatibility seems no problem.
well, thank you anyway. i will try different approach.

Dear Skaaji,
Thanks for the reply.
As device is recognized on MAX, most probably its device setting and programming issue in Agilent VEE causing error this time.
Is it first time you are controlling USB-6008 through Agilent VEE?
You can test USB-6008 using MAX following the instructions mentioned in the link below.

Please let me know if you have further questions in this regard.
