You need to install xev. Unfortunately, it seems the package is not in the installer feeds, so you would need to track down a package to install for x64 architectures, build it on the target itself, or build it in the OpenEmbedded tools available at github.com/ni/nilrt.

I just want to ask if you m-power could solve your problem. I'm having the same problem but with an Compact Vision System 1458-RT and LV 2014 SP1. I can move the cursor but clicking is not possible.

As you, I am also new to Linux and need at least a hint what could cause this problem.
