Updating Station Globals in a Deployment

I have Station globals in a deployment with it's associated ini, at the beginning of a sequence I am using a property loader to update some of the values of the Station Globals (SW rev, SW ver,...), but the values are not getting updated, and subsequently, the Station Global ini is not updated. What am I missing or not following?

Have you checked if you file is write protected.

Are the values getting updated during runtime?
