Debugging not available?

I am using LV2013sp1.

I loaded an example project, RT getting started, which demonstrates using network streams to transfer data from RT target, RIOEval, to Windows UI.

It works.

BUT, I can not run single stepping or probe on either the "Real-Time Main.vi" or the "Windows Main.vi". Both these VIs run or stop. Those "step into", "step over" and "step out" buttons are nowhere to be seen. The menu items of the same name under "operate" menu work the same as "run" button only.

I tried the debugging on tutorial projects for the eval. It works for those projects.

What am I missing?

Dumb question - is Enable Debugging disabled on the VI properties (Execution)?
