HI,
I am implementing a PXI system for the first time, I installed all the drivers that I found with the PXI chassi (PXIe-1062) and the embedded controller (PXIe-8135), I booted the PXI in the Labview RT mode and then my laptop wich is connected to the PXI by the ethernet cable from the PCI card.
the problem is that the PXI chassi is not detected by windows or by the NI Max.
here is a screenshot of the problem.
the PXI screen is showing this:
Initializing network... Static IP address assigned.
Device 1 - MAC address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx - xxx.xxx.x.x (primary)
Device 2 - MAX address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx - disabled
System state: No software installed
Thank you for helping or trying to.
Regards.

Hi,
maybe you don't have all the required software installed (ex: PXI Platform Services). expand the Software tab and send a screenshot.
The controller become detectable when it has a correct IP address, assigned by DHCP or statically. Connecting a screen to the controller makes you able to discover what is the actual ip address (and then eventually add it manually).

Hi,
Thank you very much for your answer,
I am still having the same problem, here is 3 screenshots of the software installed.
I am connecting a screen to the controller and this is what it display:
Initializing network... Static IP address assigned.
Device 1 - MAC address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx - xxx.xxx.x.x (primary)
Device 2 - MAX address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx - disabled
System state: No software installed.
This mean that I know the IP of the PXI but where should I add the IP address manually ? If you mean to add a chassi in ''Devices and interfaces'' my controller(PXIe-8135) is Not listed.
Any way the problem is a Hardware detection, and I installed all the drivers that they came with the hardware.
Thank you very much for your help.
