Hello I am new to LabVIEW FPGA, and whiile trying to compile my first VI I got this error message:
"error 8 occurred at create folder in create directory recursive vi.......
Possible reason: File permission error. You do not have the correct permission for this file"
How can I go about resolving this please?

Hi Godwin1094,
There could be a number of possible reasons for this error message.
It would be worth having a quick look at the following KnowledgeBase article which provide some possible solutions:

Should this not correct your issue, would it be possible for you to post your FPGA vi? This may provide further information which would indicate the source of the error.

Thank you Chris.
That has been resolved now. I am only trying to compile an example code from Hardware I/O, under R series called Digital Line input to ensure my hardware is correctly set up.
My new challenge now is the following error which occurs after the compilation:
Error Code: -63040
NI-RIO: (Hex 0xFFFF09C0) A connection could not be established to the specified remote device.
Ensure that the device is on and accessible over the network,
that NI-RIO software is installed, and that the RIO server is running and properly configured.
For NI-RIO 2.3 and later, refer to Software>>NI-RIO>>NI-RIO Settings under the system in MAX.
Prior to NI-RIO 2.3, refer to Software>>NI-VISA>>VISA Options under the system in MAX.
I observed that in MAX, my device NI-PXI-7851R, shows up under devices and interfaces, but nothing under 'Remote Systems'
Thanks in advance

Hi Godwin,
Could you give a breif description of your system? This would help diagnose the issue you're seeing.
Do you have a Windows PC connected to an RT-PXI(e) which contains a PXI-7851R
or
A Windows PXI(e) containing a PXI-7851R?
or
Other?
If, for example, you have a Windows PXI(e) with your 7851R, you would not expect to see this under remote systems.
Systems which would show up under 'remote systems' are targets that you connect to such as a cRIO or RT PXI. This is due to the fact that they run another operating system and make them a 'remote system' rather than a component of the current system (which shows up in devices and interfaces).
