Spice up the NI Community Block Diagram Party with some friendly competition. Join an Amazing Race-inspired scavenger hunt using mobile barcodes. Mobile barcodes are 2D codes that your smart phone’s camera can read to serve up information, or “clues,” attached to the code. Search the expo floor to solve puzzles, complete challenges, and win prizes. Be the first to check in at the final destination to win the new Xbox 360.

How to participate:

1. Download the Microsoft Tag mobile barcode reader to your smart phone from www.gettag.mobi.

2. Print out and scan the barcode below to test the reader you just downloaded.

3. When the scavenger hunt begins, scan the first official clue.

4. Solve the clue by going to the demo that is being described.

5. When you arrive at the checkpoint, scan the next clue.

6. Repeat steps 4-5 until you get to the final destination (and win!)

Remember:

• If you are having trouble following a clue, you can come back to the check point that you received the last clue from and get a hint. (You can only get the hint after at least five minutes of trying to solve the clue)
  
• There will be challenges along the way - so be ready!
  
• Be the first to arrive at a check point and win a prize!
  
• The first person at the final destination wins a new Xbox 360!
