Challenge: Developing a real-time system to tune photoacoustic measurements to clinically assess osteoporosis.
Solution: Using NI FlexRIO and NI LabVIEW to connect the ultrasonic signal to a time-delayed laser diode array for optimized photoacoustic excitation of ultrasound in the patient.
