You are invited to participate in an important event for future engineers, construction managers, and computer scientists.

The Engineering Career Center is hosting the fourth annual Engineering Career Exploration Night for the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering class of 2017. We are inviting professionals to share their background, experiences and give students career advice.

Fulton Engineering is focused on the student experience and student success. Annual events like the Engineering Career Exploration Night help students become "engineers from day one".

At this event, students will arrive with an assignment to meet, greet and ask questions about various professions and their chosen major. This is an opportunity for you to share your college experiences, career history and advice with future engineers.

Who can participate?

Anyone with formal education and training in computer science, construction management or any engineering discipline.

What is the commitment?

One evening spent talking with students in a one-on-one or small group networking atmosphere.

What is the format?

Professionals will be assigned to “neighborhoods” based on the academic majors within each of the five Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. Exhibits will be arranged around the perimeter of the rooms. Students and guests will be able to move around the room and mingle

We encourage visual aids and interactive displays. Posters of projects, devices, prototypes, blueprints, products, organizational displays, or any other type of visual, plus hands-on activities, will enhance a student's understanding of technology and career options. Please let us know of any special arrangements required when you register. We think it will be exciting to see "real" projects.

Will refreshments be available?

Yes, we will have appetizers, heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts and beverages for you in our VIP Lounge.

Cost?

Free

Can I invite others from my professional network?

Yes! Please help us spread the word. Feel free to forward this email or refer others to our webpage for details about the event.
