I'm trying to fetch and write IQ data in chunks using the attached vi.
I'm using the following devices to perform the acquisition:
- NI PXI-5600;
- NI PXI-5122, with an on-board memory of 1GB, corresponding to 512MB per channel, 256MSamples (per channel). So I can acquire a maximum of 2.56sec of continuous acquisition, since the device sampling rate is 100MS/s.
After the IQ conversion, I need to store data on my hard disk. Because of the limited transfer rate of the bus, I can't perform this storage in only one step, so I'm trying to use fetching in chunks.
The problem is if I change the value of Fetch Chunk Size parameter (without changing the time duration parameter), the Number of I (Q) samples changes, and also the size of the I (Q) files created changes.
I think the problem is in the MT Convert IF to IQ.vi, but I'm not sure.
How can I solve this problem?
Thank you for collaboration, I hope you answer me as soon as possible.
