Detecting USB on cRIO using APIs

Hi,

I want to detect the if any USB storage device is connected to the cRIO. User will perform his normal activities using cRIO. However in between if user connects any USB device, I want to give a prompt on UI (Of course I'll have a host machine!) like the one we get if we plug in any USB to windows machine.

Will it be possible to detect USB device connectivity using some event that cRIO generates..........Any API.....??

Regarding your query, the exact event you're looking for might not be found in your normal VISA events, but to read about the available events for USB, click here

You can always configure a connectivity event programatically by polling the data socket where you will connect the USB
