Not able to set default gateway as 0.0.0.0

Hello,

I've recently bought a used NI cRIO-9014 and I'm trying to configure it to be used on my computer. 

Currently, I'm trying to configure my cRIO with a static IP address (https://www.ni.com/gettingstarted/setuphardware/compactrio/staticip.htm), but I am not able to change the Default Gateway as 0.0.0.0. I keep recieving an error stating that "0 is not a valid entry. Please specify a number between 1 and 223." 

Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do or what the problem might be?

Can you take a screenshot of the error you are seeing and post it here? That KnowledgeBase article you referenced is helpful and we will see what suggestions we have so you can get your cRIO up and running.

Can you enter blanks instead of 0?  I remember doing it this way somewhere.
