National Instruments has prioritized key LabVIEW 2010 features that are all about time. The latest version is a platform-wide software update with new features driven directly by customer requests, new field-programmable gate array (FPGA) intellectual property (IP) blocks, enhanced timing and synchronization capabilities, and an improved back-end compiler that generates optimized machine code, providing up to 20 percent faster run-time execution.
