NI Switch Executive Import Errors

I can successfully configure a Virtual Device for three Pickering PXI microwave/RF switch cards. Everything validates. I then export it to Excel and then import it and I now have four broken routes (see SpecAnaInFromRF_FWD_A, B, C, D). But the route is fine if I copy the route from Excel and paste them into the broken Virtual Device. I have included the exported Excel file.

Exporting to XML corrects three of the routes but FWD_A is still broken.

Any Ideas?

Hi @oldTallGuy,

What hardware are you using? Also if you could post some screenshots that would really help.

The hardware is described in the attached spread sheet from my first post(IVI Devices tab). You can install the drivers for the PXI relay cards from here: http://downloads.pickeringtest.info/downloads/drivers/IVI/

Import the spreadsheet into Switch Executive and look for the route labeled 'SpecAnaInFromRF_FWD_A' it will be broken with an error message (see attached screen shot).

Are these the devices you are using? I am trying to figure out how to replicate this as closely as possible.

A3_Pick_4xSPDT
A4_Pick_2xSP4T
A7_Pick_1xSP6T

If there is a particular serial of model number for the hardware that would really help.

I apologize if I have made this difficult. I am using:

40-780A-544 = A3_Pick_4xSPDT

40-784A-142 = A4_Pick_2xSP4T

40-784A-041 = A7_Pick_1xSP6T

Install the Pickering IVI driver. Create logical names as shown in the attached screen shots (SS_1,SS_2, SS_3). And import the spreadsheet from the first post.

Hi @oldTallGuy,

I am still a little confused as to which of these drivers need to be installed? *See attached image*
