The following VI is loaded, Numeric Value In 1 is set to 2 and Numeric Vlaue In 2 is set to 1; what is the value of Numeric Value Out after the first and second execution of the VI?

a) 0, 0

b) 0, 3

c) 3, 3

d) 3, 6

Hi Steve,

nice to hear from you again! Since the feedback node is not initialized it outputs a zero (the default value for the DBL data type) during the first iteration. However, the value of the output node depends on the values you write to the two numeric controls. If both controls are at zero, then answer a) is correct. If one of them is 3 and the other zero, then the first cycle produces a 3 and the second a 6, so that answer d) is correct in this case. The other two answers are not possible - unless you change the control value after the first iteration.

Its nice to have u back Steve....

In the first Iteration the Feedback is assigned to the default Value 0 so (0+2) +1=3

Here the value three is Initialized to the Feedback node as default value so (3+2)+1=6

Hence the answer is D....
