Logging a NON RT channel

Hi am using a RT Chassis with pxi where my application also needs a USB DAQ. I need to record the NONRT channel value with RT channel data.I thought of a way to"Read channels from labview, write it to the some userchannels using API where i can select the user channel as a logging parameter in stimulus profile Editor.Is this the right way or Is there any better way to log the NON RT channels while executing the Profiles.

It depends heavily on how you will be acquiring the data from the USB DAQ. Are you doing a buffered measurement at a higher rate than the control loop rate of VeriStand? If so, I presume you'd be doing so through a custom device of some sort?

It will be at rate of 1kHz where am planning to set my PCL @ 5kHz.And also am planning to log the data through profiles at the rate of 100 to 1000 Hz
