Protection counter add-on custom device

When I deploy CAN-Frame-Protection-Custom-Device on my PXIe with Linux RT controller and 8512 XNET card it doesn't send properly messages of dbc with j1939 protocol, it send instead can messages with 11 bit ID. Has anyone experienced and solved this kind of problem?

You should use NIVeriStandAdd-Ons/J1939-Custom-Device instead.

I need that custom device because I need to use counter and crc/checksum in my application

Rolling counter and protection are implemented in the J1939 Addon as well. I just did a quick peek into the source code and confirmed that.

I have one last question: when i try to insert into the source code frame protection support master subModule, i see that "Calculate Counter And Protections Main.vi" and "Initialize Protection Frames.vi" are missing. Can I just use "Calculate Counter And Protections Main Outgoing.vi" and "Initialize Protection Frames Outgoing.vi"
