I saw two interesting articles today. Boeing can't hire enough engineers (really, it's a story about UW not being able to graduate enough engineering students), and a FIRST student explains how she got interested in Engineering and why we need to encourage other young students to do the same:

NI has been a strong supporter of FIRST for exactly this reason. We can't be successful unless you are successful, and you need good, smart engineers to be successful.
