Note to self regarding the next projects

I am writing this mostly as a reminder to myself!

Next projects:

  1. building and testing a mini laser scanner using a line projector. This will be a scanner for small objects (actual dimensions not yet known) with budget under 100 eur. Software (hopefully) will account for both camera (fairly simple) and projector distortion (hmmm).
  2. using MLX90620 IR temperature sensor and Arduino to display temperature measurements in real-time on Android compatible device.

Side projects:

  1. Testing Labview CUDA library
  2. Testing Labview Stereo Vision library (http://forums.ni.com/t5/Machine-Vision/Stereo-library-2012-pointers/td-p/2171812)

The order of the execution is not known.
