Cannot manual set time scale in Data View - reverts to autoscale on run

Solved!
Go to solution

There was a similar post from someone evaluation SignalExpress but they did not respond to follow-up questions.

I cannot set the (x-axis) time scale in the data view.  When I turn off  autoscale and manually enter a value, it appears to change, is presented correctly in the both the preview and the Data View pane, ONLY until I hit RUN, then it reverts to autoscale.

This is maddening.

The attached JPG shows this behavior.

Hi,

To solve this issue, you need to right-click on the graph in Data View.  Select X Scale»Deselect Autoscale.  Then, double-click on the lowest/highest value and change the value to be the low/high end value for desired viewing range.  Changing the scale in this manner should not revert to Autoscale during runtime.

OK, that works.  Now WHY doesn't it work from the Properties dialog or what's the point of it being on the Properties dialog?  This is a BUG and should be reported and fixed.
