Quick Drop Plugin: Reset Origin

Note: This shortcut ships with LabVIEW 2018 and later with a default assignment of Ctrl-O. You only need to download it from here if you are using LabVIEW 2017 or previous.

Resets the origin for all panes or the block diagram.

Looks very useful, I find my origins drifting occasionally and this could save me lots of swearing

One question if I may: If I have a Front Panel with a number of splitter bars, in which pane will this reset the origin? All of them? Or can it determine the 'selected' or 'last edited' pane?

Andreas, great work.  I updated it to also include the block diagram.  I hope you don't mind, but I thought others would like that feature as well.

Andreas, thank you for the helpful plugin! I modified it a little so that holding Shift causes it to invoke the OpenG "Fit VI window to content" function, as I find that useful.

Did you update the download version of this?

Hey all,

I made an update to this QD plugin, it now reads each origin position and will not perform the "Set" if the origin is already at (0, 0). Moreover, if all origins are already at (0, 0), it will fail the transaction at the end, leaving no dirty dot if nothing has changed. Technically speaking, I made it from scratch before seeing this post, so there might be very small cosmetic BD differences. Anyway, enjoy 😁
