NI FlexRIO and LabVIEW FPGA 1 Hr - Hands On

NI FlexRIO and LabVIEW FPGA 1 Hr - Hands On

This 1 hour session introduces the concepts of using NI FlexRIO module with addition to developing FPGA applications in LabVIEW. At the end of the session, you should become familiar with NI’s Instrument Driver API for NI 573x, know how to develop custom trigger logic for data acquisition and how to generate FIR filter coefficients using LabVIEW Digital Design toolkit. You should also be able to understand the concepts of FPGA-based programming in LabVIEW.

In order for you to have the best possible experience, the attached zip file contains a LabVIEW Project File. Open this project to explore the session’s Exercises and Solutions. The documentation included in the Project File also includes the list of hardware required to run the session, as well as the session manual. This page has two separate files attached, each one specifically designed for two different NI FlexRIO FPGA modules.

There is an installer for this package located at https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-32469

Feedback is always appreciated, so if you spot any issues with the documentation or LabVIEW files, please let us know so that we can continue to improve on our database of hands-on sessions.
