Ha! Sorry about that Bob; your reply eluded me...
It looks like Casey and Danielle answered your question, but I will go ahead and tell you I do exactly what you are talking about within an AF application that is not actor based. In your case, I would likely run the sequence engine in a common controller that maintains the queues for all of your actors. The sequence engine would then simply send messages to the actors of interest rather than actually perform the action directly. So you can still implement your functionality in the AF but your sequencing pattern is not AF based. Is that clear?
