These VIs demonstrate how to take power measurements using a CompactDAQ chassis. The Simple Power Measurements.vi uses the NI 9225 module to measure up to 300 Vrms of voltage and the NI 9227 module to measure up to 5 Arms of current. The modules are in slots 1 and 2 of an NI cDAQ-9174 CompactDAQ chassis. For this example, you will need to download and install the NI LabVIEW Electrical Power Suite. The subVIs in this palette will automatically calculate power characteristics like the power being used and the power factor.
An additional VI entitled "Power Measurements and Additional Functionality.vi" is included to show additional functionality that can be achieved in addition to power measurements. In this example, an NI 9213 module is being used to measure temperature while an NI 9234 module can be used to take sound quality measurements. The NI 9225 and NI 9227 modules are still being used to take power measurements similar to the other example included. This example also uses an NI cDAQ-9178 CompactDAQ chassis to allow for the additional expansion of up to 8 modules. In addition, this example will require the NI Sound and Vibration Toolkit because of the sound quality measurements that are being taken.
The newer Tool Pallet does not support the examples. Please fix.
I need activator code for electrical power suit.
