How can I turn a Microsoft Excel® range into XLR8 parameters?

I wrote a small adapter VI to turn a typical "range" of cells, such as "A1:B7" into XLR8-compatible parameters. It is the attached "Range_to_XLR8.vi".

It is not bulletproof or optimized but it should work for up to 255 columns as defined in the "xls" format.

Feel free to criticize, optimize and share the VIs.
