Select a Channel Value from a condition based on two other channel

Hi,

I have three channels in a Channel Group named Name, Number and Value. I want to select a value from Value channel based on a particular Number OR Name in the other channel.

Hey Himanshu,

               You can definitely do this using some nice .VBS script in Diadem, however we would need more details to be able to help you. Could you please be more specific on what you want to achieve ? An example .TDM file would be helpful, together with some explanations.

Hi Himanshu,

You could also look at the "Event Search (Free Formula)" dialog in the "Channel Functions" palette of the ANALYSIS panel.  You can build up conditions of exactly the type you mention and return the matching values from a third channel and NoValues everywhere else.  There's another dialog that removes NoValues, or you can use the ChnEvent...() functions to review each row that meets the conditions you set.
