Where does DQMH save the icon template for a module?

Solved!

Hey!

I have a module where I messed up the icon template when creating the module. Now when I use the DQMH tools to create a new request this messed up icon is used for most of the VIs. Is there a way to edit this template afterwards?

best regards

Jens

Hi Jens,

The Module library icon template is saved directly within the Module Library (.lvlib) itself.

You can change it afterward by accessing the Module Library Properties:

You can also find more information at: https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview/page/creating-a-library-icon.html

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tip. I looked at the library icon again and the icon preview in the properties window of the library looked correct. However, after clicking on Edit Icon the broken icon was shown, very strange.

Either way, problem solved - thanks!
