Hello Everyone,
As the topic states, this is a "Call for Presentations" for the upcoming Denver CLD Summit on Sept. 19th, 2013. The topic of this year's CLD Summit is Developing Professional Software. This was the topic for the 2013 Americas CLA Summit in the spring, and was selected because it encompasses a wide variety of topics all related to interpretation of what constitutes "professional" software.
Examples of topics may include (but are not limited to):
The term "presentations" is a bit misleading, as we'd like the summit to be as interactive as possible--but "Call for Discussions" just doesn't have the same ring... If you would like to present or chair a discussion, please contact me. For those of you who are pursuing the "points" system of NI re-certification, a presentation here will count towards your points total.
I encourage anyone planning to attend to join the Community group:
Please note, however, that the CLD Summit is open only to current NI CLD's and CLA's and is considered one of the benefits of NI Certification. If you're not up to presenting but have ideas for topics that you would like to see covered, please post them on the Community page.
The success of this event is entirely dependent on participation from the local developer community. Last year's inaugural CLD Summit set the benchmark, and I hope we can carry this momentum to make this year's summit a success!
Thanks,
Erik
Edit: Sept. 18th ALARM meeting canceled to encourage participation in this Summit; description updated.

Below is the proposed agenda for the upcoming CLD Summit on Sept. 19th. As a reminder to all CLD's and CLA's, you still have 10 days left to register if you haven't done so already! The summit is being held in lieu of this month's ALARM meeting, which has been canceled. If you are interesting in contributing to the summit, we are still accepting 10-15min. entries for the "Programming Tidbits" portion of the agenda, as shown below.
