The Multidisciplinary Engineering Lab at the Colorado School of Mines uses many VIs to collect data, including the attached PCSCOPE. This VI assumes that a DAQ board with a 200kSample/Second analog channel is available. The DAQ is started in continous mode, data is collected in a loop, analyzed for a trigger point (with debounce to eliminate some noise false triggers, and then displayed. The VI reduced the Samples/Second at low sweep speeds to prevent the display from glitching with data overloads. I first developed this about 10 years ago in my early days of programing so some of the fancier controls are not used. Also I avoided sub-VIs to keep from having lots of files to ship.
