Configuring FRC-cRIO for off robot use

I wanting to use the cRIO-FRC (the older one) for an off-season project.  I am using LabView 2012 (non-FRC license).  Whenever I try to add a C-Series module to the chassis in my project by right clicking on "Chassis (cRIO-9074)" and selecting New -> C-Series modules... I keep getting the error "The NI-RIO software on the remote system is not compatible with the local NI-RIO software. Update the NI-RIO software on the remote system."  How do I go about updating the NI-RIO software and where can I download it?

You need to use NI MAX to install the version or LabVIEW RT and the NI RIO driver that your PC is wanting to talk to.
