Error During LabVIEW update

We just reinstalled LabVIEW on one of our netbooks and I am going through the software updates required. The first update which is the "LabVIEW Update" is generating an error and we cannot proceed. The update was downloaded from the website, unzipped, placed in a folder under the c: drive and the setup.exe was run from there. The pop-up window has the heading "NI LabVIEW for FRC 2012 - FRC Core". Within the error window, it states and I quote:

"NI FIRST Robotics Competition Core:

Error 1335. The cabinet file 'FRCCore.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi YEMO,

Please make sure that you are downloading the 2012 software updates from this site: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-20147 In addition, make sure to follow the order of installation:

1 - LV update

2 - Utilities update

3 - Driver Station Update

Remember that FRC 2012 is built off of LabVIEW 2011 only (not 2011 SP1).

If you are still getting errors with these downloads, can you provide a screenshot of the error and post it back to the forums? Also, can you provide a link or description to where you got the LabVIEW Update software?

Thanks!
