Innovations in STEM Education with Leland Melvin, NASA Associate Administrator for Education

Wednesday, August 7  3:30-4:30 p.m.  Austin Convention Center - Room 3

Leland Melvin, former NFL athlete and Associate Administrator for Education at NASA, will focus on inspiring students interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers through the use of robotics education, research and innovations. This event brings together industry professionals, K-12 students and teachers from around the United States for a candid discussion with Mr. Melvin.

After the release of the new FIRST Robotics Competition controller during Ray's Academic keynote, you are invited to attend a closed door special session that reveals the technical details and functionality the new controller has to offer. With an introduction to the event from Don Bossi, President of FIRST and a panel discussion comprised of key members of the NI Research and Development team, you won't want to miss out on this event!

I'm VERY excited about NI Week and the 2015 Controller reveal! I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday for the fun and learning. I can hardly wait! And only 2 weeks after Texas Robot Roundup!
