how to start ,stop and restart automatically

HI,

I am Pramod.S,I have PCI-5154 Digitizer,i am acquirng the data now my questions is i want to acquire the data for lets say 1min and stop,after 2min gap  i want to start acquirng again automatically for another 1 min.Can you please guide me in this way.I  will be gratefull if you send any example for demonstrating this feature.

Hello Pramod,

In regard to your question on acquiring one min, wait for 2 min and acquiring again for 1 minute, you will need to create a program to control the acquisition and the gap. Is there any programming language that you are going to use to control the acquisition?

A simple control may use functionality of Elapsed Time function in LabVIEW to know how long the acquisition has run before deciding to pause the acquisition and go idle for 2 minutes. Attached is a simple implementation for you to start.
