I'm currently attempting to preform MODbus TCP/IP communication to a controller.
This controller allows for multiple MODbus TCP/IP masters.
My issues is my connection will time out due to a lack of KEEP ALIVE traffic that is normally sent. Is there anyway to ensure this traffic gets sent in NI-TCP VI's?
Most the search literature points to LV2012 VISA, saying VISA is a super class of TCP/IP. If so how can I cast a TCP/IP connection into a VISA connection.
Older literature from LV2010->LV7 states that TCP/IP can have properity nodes, which is impossible in LV2014, or at least I can't connected a properly node to a TCP/IP Refnum

Valarauca,
Which Modbus API are you using? Are you using the DSC Module?
