Hi,
I am trying to get data acquisition going on an old Dell 8200 computer.
I am running a 2013 version of NI MAX on Win XP SP3, with a PCI6034E board. The installed drivers are recent.
I get the following errors:
Self-Test gives: "The self-test failed -200020"
Self-Calibrate gives: "The device could not be calibrated -200251. No DMA channels or USB Bulk Endpoints are available..."
Test Resources button under Device Configuration gives: "The device is not responding to the selected base address"
Test Panel starts to plot a line under "Amplitude vs. Samples Chart", but then gives the error: -200019. "Possible Reason(s):
ADC conversion attempted before the prior conversion was complete."
Right now it's configured like this:
Memory Range 0xFE2FB000 - 0xFE2FBFFF
Memory Range 0xFE2F2000 - 0xFE2F2FFF
Interrupt Request 17
Direct Memory Access 0
Under Settings, it shows:
Name Dev1
Vendor National Instruments
Model NI PCI-6034E
Serial Number FFFFFFFF
PCI Bus 2
PCI Device 8
Status Present
The Win XP Device Manager does not list any device conflicts, and the BIOS recognizes the board.
Thanks.

Hi Wave_monitor,
Can you please list the DAQmx driver you're using? It's under the software tab in MAX. Also, can you take a screen shot of the section of MAX you're working with?
Thanks,

Sounds like a plan, thanks for the update.

Replacing the power supply solved the problem in my case. I am no longer getting those errors, and
'Test Samples' plots a normal curve. In general, the computer is responding faster now. So it seems the board
was just not getting enough power.

Hey Wave_monitor
I'm glad you're up and running!
