Separate compiled code: possible regression in LabVIEW 2012?

I have found a similar problem regarding Actor Framework and dynamic dispatch vis that were not involved in the edit needing to be resaved.  For example I make a new message and it has a Do.vi method; a second example is when I have a new Actor Core.vi override.  Now all previous messages need to be resaved.  I look at SCC and see a huge list of edited files, when in fact only one class was added.

This can make using the diff function a huge problem too.

If typedefs had a mutation history like classes that tracked user changes to individual cluster elements, how important will G tools for manipulating or deleting mutation history be?  Do you see yourselves using such tools to make sure mutation is done correctly?
